The Town of Huntsville would like to notify the public that Lions Lookout Field will be closed to the public during the day for a permitted evening event on Sunday, August 4.

The following planning application notice has been updated to the Planning Notices page at huntsville.ca/PC and is open for public comments until Tuesday, August 13, 2024:

(Huntsville / Lake of Bays) On July 24 around 7:30 p.m. Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Fighters from Station One in Huntsville and Station Five in Port Sydney responded to reports of an electrical panel producing sparks and smoke in the basement of a home on Domtar Road.

The installation of new playground equipment at Port Sydney Park Playground is complete, and the playground is now open for use.

This month, Council heard on key issues including Hospital Redevelopment, Eclipse Light Installation at River Mill Park, Library Building Needs, Integrated Watershed Management (IWM) Initiative.

(Huntsville, ON) At tonight’s Meeting, Huntsville Town Council heard presentations from various stakeholder groups and held a discussion regarding Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC)’s proposed “Made-in-Muskoka Healthcare” plan for hospital redevelopment.

(Huntsville, ON) Residents are advised that the District of Muskoka has issued a Full Road Closure Notice for Brunel Road (Muskoka Road 2) from Main Street to Veterans Way, starting Monday, July 22, 2024 at 7 a.m. to Friday, July 26, 2024 at end of day, for road improvements.
