Council Chamber

As a vibrant community of diverse artists known for its creative economy, the Town of Huntsville and Huntsville Art Society (HAS) are excited to add local works of art to the Council Chamber public gallery where we conduct the official business of the Town. The works can be enjoyed in person from the public gallery during public meetings of Council.

Works will rotate quarterly, with calls led by the Huntsville Art Society.

Our first artist on display is Jennifer Alexis. Jennifer is a talented artist from Huntsville, Ontario, known for her unique ambidextrous paintings that blend realism and Impressionism with a wide range of subjects. Painting through complex neurological dysfunction her unique approach harnesses the strengths of her right and left hands resulting in striking creations that explore the world around us.
