Brunel Locks is a historic location on the Muskoka River.

Please note the following lock fees for passage:

Single pass

  • Single passes cost $14.00 plus HST ($15.82 with taxes included)
  • Available to purchase at the Brunel Locks; debit or credit card only (cash is no longer accepted)

Season pass

  • Early-bird pricing: Season passes cost $81.00 plus HST ($91.53 with taxes included) until April 30, 2026
  • From May 1, 2026, season passes will cost $104.00 plus HST ($117.52 with taxes included)
  • Purchase a season pass online
  • Available for purchase at the Brunel Locks; debit or credit card only (cash is no longer accepted)

These fees apply for 2026 and are determined annually in the fees and charges by-law.

Brunel Locks Seasonal Hours of Operation:

Victoria Day Long Weekend - until July 1: Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am - 6:00pm
July 1 to Labour Day: Open seven days a week from 10:00am - 6:00pm
Labour Day to Thanksgiving: Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am - 6:00pm
