Road Closure – National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day – September 30, 2026
(Huntsville, ON) - Residents are advised that a remembrance walk in honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day will take place on Wednesday, September 30, requiring road closures in downtown Huntsville.
The following roads will be closed for the event:
- Dara Howell Way from River Mill Park to West Street North from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

West Street North from Dara Howell Way to Main Street East 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Main Street East from West Street North to Brunel Road to West Street North 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Barricades will be in place to control vehicle traffic near the event.
