(Huntsville, ON) - In compliance with the Town's Lease Policy, Huntsville Town Council is considering a proposal to lease municipal property to a private business for the operation of a sauna and cold plunge facility on the Muskoka River. 

Huntsville Town Council is seeking additional input from the community to help inform their decision regarding the proposed locations.  

Residents are encouraged to complete a survey on the Town's public engagement website, MyHuntsville.ca. 

The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, August 11. 

The proposed locations are on the Muskoka River at River Mill Park, west of the public docks near the community garden, and at Town Dock municipal property by the finger docks directly in front of On The Docks Pub. 

As part of the review process, consultation has been done with local organizations, nearby businesses, environmental groups, and lake associations. Feedback received through these consultations assisted in the review of the proposed locations. The results of these consultations can be found in the Staff Report to General Committee.
