Town Thanks Sponsors and Community for Making the 2026 Great Pumpkin Trail a Big Success

(Huntsville, ON) – The 37th annual Great Pumpkin Trail event at Muskoka Heritage Place was monstrously successful as local sponsors and the community came out to enjoy all the sights, sounds and of course, tricks and treats that make it such a special event.

“On behalf of council, I want to extend a big thank you to the businesses and individuals who stepped forward as sponsors, the volunteers who generously donated their time, and the community who came out to make this year’s Great Pumpkin Trail such a success and another memorable celebration of this cherished tradition,” says Huntsville Mayor Nancy Alcock. “I would also like to acknowledge Mayor-elect Scott Morrison for playing an integral role in ensuring this year's event would be such a big success."

A total of 20 sponsors and over 450 visitors joined us this year, making this year's event one of the most attended in recent years. The Town would like to thank and acknowledge everyone who sponsored this year's Great Pumpkin Trail and to the volunteers who helped put it all together. We hope you had as much fun as the families who came out to experience the community spirit and joy the event brought to Huntsville! And congratulations to Muskoka Music Centre for winning the Mayor’s Best Decorated Building Award. Honourable mentions go out to MBRP, Home Town Feed and Seed and Tall Trees!
