(Huntsville, ON) - The Town of Huntsville is advising residents that our annual winter maintenance equipment training and route reviews are now taking place throughout Huntsville in preparation for the upcoming season. Residents will notice sidewalk maintenance equipment travelling along sidewalks, pathways, and road crossings ensuring crews are prepared to respond safely and efficiently when winter weather arrives.  

These training activities help operators become familiar with sidewalk routes, identify potential obstacles, review safe operating procedures, and ensure equipment is functioning properly before the start of snow and ice control operations. The training is expected to be completed by November 1.

• Make eye contact with operators before crossing in front of machinery
