Temporary Closure of Rear Entrance to Town Hall: August 17–31, 2026
(Huntsville, ON) – The Town is advising residents of upcoming renovations at Town Hall that will require temporary adjustments to building access.
From August 17 to 31, renovations to the building’s heating and cooling system are being completed, and residents and visitors will be required to use the Main Street entrance to the building only.
The rear entrance to Town Hall (High Street), and the parking areas located directly at the back of the building will be closed to accommodate construction activities.
Additionally, the walkway between Town Hall and Trinity United Church will be closed. Pedestrians are asked to use West Street South or Brunel Road to access Main Street.
The Customer Service counters on the second and third floors at Town Hall will remain open throughout construction during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Customer Service can also be contacted by phone at 705-789-1751.
Tax payment and municipal election resources will remain available at Town Hall throughout the construction period, and there are no Council or Committee meetings, or Algonquin Theatre events scheduled during this time.
Algonquin Theatre ticket sales will be available online at algonquintheatre.ca as well as in person at the Canada Summit Centre Box Office during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Partners Hall will remain open for gallery viewing.
