(Huntsville, ON) - The Town of Huntsville is inviting residents to take home a piece of summer beauty! From September 21 to October 16, the zinnia flowers from the Town’s downtown floral displays will be given away to the community at McCulley Robertson Recreation Park.   

“We’ve had a number of residents reach out asking for seeds or flowers, and we’re thrilled to be able to share them,” says Tina Scott-Burns, Manager of Parks and Cemeteries for the Town of Huntsville. “It’s a great way to celebrate the end of the growing season and spread a little colour into our community.”   

These vibrant blooms have brightened the streets of downtown Huntsville all season long, and now they’re ready to find new homes in residents’ gardens.

Flowers can be picked up beginning September 21 in the parking lot at the turn on Williams Street between the Rotary Skateboard Park and McCulley Robertson Recreation Park. 

Supplies are limited, so it’s first come, first served.
