When a tragedy like this occurs, it touches all of us. Our hearts are with the families, friends, and communities in Alberta who are grieving such a devastating loss. It's difficult to find words in the face of such heartbreak. On behalf of our community, I extend our condolences to everyone affected and wish them strength in the days ahead. There are moments when communities across the country pause together in sadness. This is one of those moments. Our thoughts are with everyone in Alberta who is facing loss and heartbreak.

As a gesture of respect and solidarity, flags at Town facilities will be lowered to half-mast in honour of those affected.
