(Huntsville, ON) - The Town of Huntsville has been made aware that some media outlets are reporting that we have elevated to a state of emergency due to the flooding event we are experiencing.   

This is inaccurate. The Town has NOT issued a state of emergency and remains under a Ministry of Natural Resources Flood Warning. 

We have notified all media to correct any false reports immediately. 

Please note that the Town of Huntsville's website and social media pages are where official and accurate information is posted. The Town will continue to provide accurate and timely updates through these channels.
