Huntsville Votes 2026 – Watch for Your Voter Information Letter
(Huntsville, ON) – The 2026 Municipal Election is fast approaching, and Voter Information Letters have now been mailed to electors who are registered on the Voters List. Make sure you are ready to cast your ballot by internet or telephone to elect the Mayor, Council and School Board Trustees.
Here’s what you need to know to make sure you are ready to vote.
Confirm Your Registration
You must be on the Voters List to vote. Checking your voter information is quick and easy.
Online:

Check your information on the Voting Lookup portal at huntsville.ca/election

If you are not on the list, complete the online Application to Amend Voters List form and upload your identification through the Voter Registration Portal before 7:00 p.m. on October 26.
In person:
Visit the Huntsville Civic Centre (Town Hall), 37 Main Street East
- September 1 – October 13: Second floor, during regular business hours
- 10:00 a.m. on October 14 – October 26 at 8:00 p.m.: First Floor, Partners Hall (see the Election Help Centre hours below)
Watch for Your Voter Information Letter
Voter Information Letters have been mailed to eligible electors on the Voters List.
If you have not received your letter by the start of the voting period on October 14, and you have confirmed that you are registered on the Voters List, please contact the Town for assistance.

Accessibility Supports
The Town provides a range of accessibility supports to help eligible voters participate in the 2026 Municipal Election. The election will be conducted using internet and telephone voting, allowing electors to vote conveniently from home or any location with internet or telephone access.
Additional accessibility supports include an accessible Election Help Centre at the Huntsville Civic Centre (Town Hall) equipped with touch-screen technology, alternative-format Voter Information Letters available upon request, and scheduled mobile voting assistance on October 15, 19 and 22, 2026.
Voting takes place from October 14 to October 26, 2026. Residents who require an accommodation or have questions about election accessibility can contact the Clerk's Office at 705-789-1751, email clerk@huntsville.ca or visit the Town's election website for additional information.

Beginning October 14, 2026, the Town will open an Election Help Centre for electors who need assistance or do not have access to a computer or telephone.

In preparation for the upcoming municipal election, the Town has identified some important key dates:

September 1 – October 26: Check, update or add yourself online to the Voters List by visiting huntsville.ca/election, (until 7:00 p.m. on October 26), or by visiting the Election Help Centre, 37 Main St. E (until 8:00 p.m. on October 26)

October 14 – October 26: Cast your vote

October 23: Last day for third-party advertisers to register
