Aquatics Instructor

Aquatics Instructor

Reporting to the Aquatics Supervisor, the Aquatics Instructor will provide a high caliber level of instruction in all swimming and first aid classes while offering enjoyable and safe aquatic experiences for all ages. The primary responsibility is to deliver quality instruction that adheres to the program standards of Lifesaving Society, the high Five Organization. In addition, instructors are to maintain diligent safety supervision before, during and immediately following a swim or lesson session.

Candidates must have their National Lifeguard Certification, Standard First Aid and Swim for Life Instructor Certification. In addition, the ideal candidate must be responsible, self-motivated and have excellent customer service skills.

The starting hourly rate for this position is $21.58 to $23.80. Hours: Summer weekday shifts and could vary to evenings and weekends for fall, winter and spring.
