In recognition of National Breastfeeding Week (October 1-7), the Town of Huntsville is pleased to host a flag-raising ceremony for the Muskoka Breastfeeding Coalition and the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Civic Square.

National Breastfeeding Week raises awareness of the importance of breastfeeding and the need for supportive environments for breastfeeding families. This year's theme is "Prioritize Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems."
