New property owners

Congratulations on your new ownership status. Things you need to know:

• Your lawyer may provide the Town of Huntsville with an ownership update at closing of sale.
• The property tax department will send the next bill to the new owner.
• The owner is responsible for paying property taxes in time for the due date.
• The owner is responsible to ensure the mailing address information is correct. You can change your mailing address online using the Mailing Address Change Form.
