For assistance with employee recruitment, financial support or how to run a business, the following local services are here to help.

• YMCA Simcoe/Muskoka Employment Services: The YMCA Employment & Learning Services in Huntsville offers free programs to help people find jobs and build skills. Job seekers can get help with job searches, writing résumés and cover letters, preparing for interviews, one-on-one coaching, job fairs, and ongoing support. Employers can post jobs, find and screen candidates, and access training grants and wage subsidies. The YMCA also offers learning programs to improve reading, math, and digital skills; finish high school; take ESL classes; join free workshops; and build life skills for work.
• Muskoka Small Business Centre: The Muskoka Small Business Centre provides information, consultations, and programs for businesses at any stage of development. Services include help with creating a business plan, registering a business, understanding finances, and managing growth.
• Muskoka Futures: Muskoka Futures supports businesses at every stage—from start-up and growth to succession planning. Services include guidance on grant opportunities, access to business loans, and resources to help entrepreneurs achieve their goals. Community members can book an appointment with Muskoka Futures to explore options and get assistance in making their business plans a reality.
