Stay Active and Engaged This Summer – Program Registration Opens June 5!
(Huntsville, ON) June is Recreation and Parks Month, making it the perfect time to release a new suite of indoor and outdoor summer activities offered by the Town of Huntsville and Huntsville Public Library.
Staying engaged – whether indoors or out – contributes to better physical and mental well-being, and Recreation and Parks Month is a wonderful reminder to explore new hobbies, revisit past interests, or simply enjoy the social connections that come with community programs.
Summer program registration opens Thursday, June 5 at 8:30 a.m., both online and in person. Whether you are looking to soak in the sunshine or beat the heat, our 2025 Summer Recreation Programs and Activities are here to keep residents of all ages engaged, energized, and having fun all season long. Highlights include swim to survive, indoor pickleball, yoga on the dock, and family open floor. June is also Seniors’ Month, and we will be celebrating with a Strawberry Social through the Active Living Centre. With programs filling quickly, early registration is encouraged to secure your spot in these popular offerings.
For those looking for a memorable experience for your kids, there are still spots available in a number of the Town’s Summer Camps. The Huntsville Public Library is also buzzing with activity, with its popular TD Summer Reading Club, storywalks, STEAM activities and summer pop-ups around town.
