Special Council Post-Meeting Highlights – August 20, 2024

On August 20, 2024 at 8:00am, Council held a Special Council Meeting to discuss an exemption to the Business Licensing Bylaw 2017-111- Refreshment Vehicle. 

Here’s what happened:

• A verbal update was provided by the Chief Building Official on an exemption request to serve alcohol from a refreshment vehicle.
  • OUTCOME: Council granted the exemption for the Rusky Rake Refreshment Vehicle at Sandhill Nursery and directed staff to amend the by-law. Staff are further directed to review of section 1.11 of Schedule ‘A’ of the Business Licensing By-law.
