General Committee Pre-Meeting Highlights – February 25, 2026
This month Committee will hear on a number of subjects, including a recommendation to create a Huntsville Healthcare Advisory Panel, a recommendation to install LiveBarn video streaming at both Canada Summit Centre arenas and a follow-up related to lighting at McCulley-Robertson Diamond F.

As physician attraction and retention efforts continue, staff are recommending the creation of a Huntsville Healthcare Advisory Panel. This Advisory Panel would be established to address the unattached patient waitlist and other community healthcare needs.

Staff are recommending the installation of the LiveBarn video streaming platform at both Canada Summit Centre arenas as requested by the Huntsville Girls Hockey Association in September 2025.

A follow-up will be presented related to lighting at McCulley-Robertson Diamond F which was originally presented in January 2026. Lighting deficiencies were identified as potential safety issues for players, officials, spectators, and other park users.
