General Committee Pre-Meeting Highlights – January 28, 2026

This month Committee will hear on a number of subjects, including a recommendation for additional lighting at baseball Diamond F at the McCulley-Robertson Recreation Park, and an update on the implementation of initiatives to support the Town’s Strategic Plan. 

• Staff were directed by Council to conduct a photometric study at Diamond F at the McCulley-Robertson Recreation Park to help determine if there is a need for additional lighting. Following the results of the study, staff are recommending installing two new concrete poles behind the backstop and adding floodlights behind dugout poles and foul lines to improve safety and accessibility.   
• Staff are providing an update on the Corporate Action Plan which outlines the progress made on projects that support the strategic goals and initiatives identified in the Town’s Strategic Plan.
