    In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Town of Huntsville will be lowering the flags to half-mast across all Town facilities from sunrise to sunset on Monday, September 30, 2024.

  • SMDHU Public Notice: Blue-Green Algae Confirmed at Longs Lake

    The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) has received test results from the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) confirming a blue-green algae bloom impacting Longs Lake, Town of Huntsville. The samples were taken along the southwest shoreline of Longs Lake.
