Notice of Intent to Dispose of Surplus Property at October 27, 2025 Council Meeting

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Huntsville proposes to enact a by-law pursuant to Sections 9 and 35 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001 to:

  1. stop up and close that portion of the Original Shore Road Allowance lying in front of Lot 30, Concession 9 Stephenson designated as Part 1, Plan 35R27887

  1. stop up and close that portion of the Original Shore Road Allowance lying in front of Lot 17, Concession 14 Brunel designated as Part 1, Plan 35R27886

The proposed By-laws will come before Council for consideration at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, 37 Main Street East, Huntsville, Ontario on October 27, 2025 at the hour of 5:30 p.m., and at that time Council will hear any person or by his/her Counsel, Solicitor, or Agent, who claims that his/her lands will be prejudicially affected and who applies to be heard. Written comments may be provided to the Clerk of the Municipality at the address below:
