Please be advised that portions of the Hunter’s Bay Trail and Avery Beach Park will be closed intermittently to the public for the construction and installation of the MOVE Project starting Monday, June 9 until the end of June. The trail closures include a portion of the Hunter’s Bay Trail west of the park where the equipment will be installed and areas of the park to allow for heavy equipment access to the parking lot. Boat launch and trail users are encouraged to plan in advance during this time, and utilize other portions of the trail for activities during construction.  

The MOVE project, formerly called the “MSCLE Project” is an open-air fitness equipment station that is free for the public to use and encourages an active lifestyle for all ages, fitness levels, and abilities.
