Huntsville Community Fund Supports Crowdfunding for New Pickleball Courts

(Muskoka, ON) – With the support of Council, the Town of Huntsville has created a new Huntsville Community Fund project to raise funds in support of two new pickleball courts. With growing demand for the sport, the Pickleball Court Project provides residents with means to financially contribute to and show their support for new courts in the community.

The Pickleball Court Project was established as a result of a deputation from the Huntsville Pickleball Club at the July 2025 Council Meeting requesting support for the new courts. The project has set an initial funding target of $200,000. Once that goal has been reached, Town Council will consider the location, cost of installation, ongoing operational costs, and the future Town budget impacts. The overall cost of installation of the courts is to be funded entirely through community donations. As a result, the final funding target of this project will be set once the total cost of installation is determined.

Donations of any size are welcome. Should the project not reach the overall financial goal, donations will be reallocated to other community-related Town projects.
