The Brunel Locks are officially opening May 17 for the 2025 season, unlocking access to over 80kms of boating (circumnavigating Huntsville’s multi-lake shoreline and river). Whether you're paddling, boating, or just soaking in the view, the locks are your gateway to more adventure! 
 

2025 Season Schedule: 

Victoria Day Long Weekend (May 17–19): 
Open Saturday through Monday, from 10:00am to 6:00pm. 

May 24 – June 29: 
Open weekends only, 10:00am to 6:00pm. 

Canada Day (July 1) – Labour Day (Sept. 1): 
Open seven days a week, 10:00am to 6:00pm. 

September 6 – Thanksgiving Monday (Oct. 13): 
Open weekends only, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Locks close for the season after Thanksgiving. 
 

Lock Fees for 2025: 

Single Lock-Through: 
$13.00 + HST (Total: $14.69) 
Purchase at the Brunel Locks (debit or credit only — no cash) 

Season Pass: 
$100.00 + HST (Total: $113.00) 
Available at the Brunel Locks (debit or credit only) or online at Huntsville.ca. 

Fees are set annually in the Town’s Fees and Charges By-law.
