Customer Service Representative - Finance Department

The Corporation of the Town of Huntsville is located two hours north of Toronto in beautiful Muskoka cottage country. Huntsville, with a population approaching 20,000, is the largest community in the District of Muskoka and is a vibrant and dynamic community in which to live, work and play.
Recognizing the importance of delivering exceptional customer service to meet the needs and expectations of the public, the Customer Service Representative will serve as a first point of contact for the Finance Department. This role involves providing friendly, professional, and knowledgeable assistance at the counter, by phone, and via email. Administrative support is the primary focus, with potential opportunities to assist in finance-related tasks depending on prior experience. Additional duties may be assigned as required.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong analytical and decision-making skills, and a demonstrated ability to work independently. A college diploma in business administration or a related field will be considered an asset. Candidates must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills, and be proficient with personal computer systems. A self-motivated individual with a strong customer service focus and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment will thrive in this role.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.44 with an excellent benefit package. Working hours are Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and may include evenings to accommodate public meetings or any operational needs.
