This month, Council heard a variety of topics, including:  

ITEM: A report on the telecommunications tower at 40 Florence Street West 

OUTCOME: Staff have been authorized to request a structural audit from the owner of 48 Florence Street West to assess the feasibility and cost of co-locating the Town's operational and emergency services communication equipment on their communication tower. The approximately $15,000 cost of the review will be funded from the IT Reserve. 

ITEM: 3-way stop at Chaffey Township Road and Highview Drive  

OUTCOME: Following requests from residents in the area, a 3-way stop will be included in the reconstruction design of Chaffey Township Road, at the intersection of Chaffey Township Road and Highview Drive. Additional traffic calming measures will also be considered in the reconstruction design of Chaffey Township Road.
