Council Post-Meeting Highlights – June 23, 2025
This month, Council heard on a variety of topics, including an update from the Muskoka Community Land Trust (MCLT).
MCLT will deliver a presentation to Council regarding the development of affordable rental housing units on municipal lands at 40 Florence Street West.

OUTCOME: MCLT provided an update on the initial studies completed for the affordable housing project at 40 Florence Street West. MCLT anticipates submitting the documentation for the review by the Town’s Planning Department this July.
A resolution is being introduced to change the time of Council Meetings from 5:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. If passed, Council meetings will move to 1:00 p.m. starting in July and affect all Council meetings for the remainder of the term.

OUTCOME: Council deferred making a decision on changing the time of Council Meetings until the July Council meeting.
