(Huntsville, ON) – The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire on Britannia Road in Huntsville around 9:30pm on August 2, 2022.
Crews from Station 1 and 5 with assistance from Station 4 in Baysville encountered heavy flames in the roof area of the structure. The aerial apparatus was used to help suppress the fire. Crews remained on-scene for several hours dealing with hotspots.

(Huntsville ON) Residents are advised that traffic signals are installed and will be active at Centre Street and Hanes Avenue as of Thursday, July 28, 2022. Improvements include traffic signals, addition of turning lanes and upgrades to infrastructure to assist with safety and the flow of traffic.

(Lake of Bays) On Sunday July 24th shortly before 6:30 am, crews from Baysville Station #4 with assistance from Algonquin Highlands and Huntsville responded to a reported structure fire east of Baysville on Hwy 117. Upon arrival, crews were met with heavy fire involvement at the front of the building which had already spread into the roof structure.
