- Know where to park. The following parking lots will be open throughout construction: River Mill Parking Lot, the High Street Parking Lots as well as the Canada Summit Centre Parking Lot.
Detour areas
Living on or near a detour area
The construction project will impact traffic in our community, and residents living on detour routes can expect higher volumes of traffic. Detour routes from all construction stages can be viewed on our parking and detour page.
- Waste and Recycling: during construction all waste and recycling services will be maintained per your regular collection day schedule. If you have collection concerns please connect with the District of Muskoka.
Access to school areas
We are committed to working with our local School Board throughout all Stages of this project. Residents are encouraged to review the detour maps and construction stage information, to plan their travel to and from School Zone areas, especially during peak before and after school drop-off times. We are working with the Transportation division on any scheduled changes, if any routes are altered, families will be contacted directly in advance.
Shopping, dining and events downtown
