Welcome to our beautiful town of Huntsville.

Parking map

The public parking map can help you locate parking lots and spaces downtown.

Parking in Huntsville

Accessible parking

The downtown public parking map notes all of the accessible spots to park in Huntsville.

You must have a valid accessibility parking permit displayed on your dash to park in these spots.

Main Street parking

We welcome you to our Main Street by offering free 2 hour parking.

If you need more time (we hope you do!) we encourage you to park in one of our free all-day parking lots or on a side street.

Main street parking in the summer

During the summer months, we ask residents to park on side streets where possible to allow space for visitors to easily access and enjoy our downtown.

Side street parking

You may park on side streets during certain times of the year.

Please watch for:

  • Signs that say no parking
  • Fire hydrants - keep them clear and accessible. Do not park within 10 feet of either side of the hydrant

Overnight parking in the winter

Overnight parking on side streets is not permitted from November 1 to April 15 each year. This is to allow plow trucks to clear the streets.

If a vehicle is parked on a side street it may either be towed at the owner's expense, or plowed in.

View the parking map for alternate parking places.
