Huntsville Public Transit

The Town of Huntsville operates a public transit service that includes two buses. Both buses are wheelchair-accessible and have a next stop automated announcer system to let riders know where the transit is at along the route.

Survey

The Town of Huntsville is conducting a survey to get an idea of how you use the Huntsville Transit. Everyone is welcome to complete the survey.

Transit Hours

  • Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm - Excluding Statutory Holidays;
  • Saturdays 10am to 5:30 pm

Fares and Passes

Passes and schedules available on the Bus or at Town Hall, 37 Main Street East, Huntsville.

Preschooler Fares

  • Rides for free alongside of paying adult

Student Fares

  • Single Ride $1.00
  • 10 Ride Pass (plus one free ride) $10.00
  • Monthly Pass (expires one month after first use) $25.00

Adult Fares

  • Single Ride $2.25
  • 10 Ride Pass (plus one free ride) $22.50
  • Monthly Pass (expires one month after first use) $52.50
The Town of Huntsville does not issue refunds on Bus passes.

Courtesy Seating

Huntsville Transit provides courtesy and priority seating designated for use by passengers with disabilities. Transit authorities recognize there are other customers who would also benefit from having a seat near the front of the bus. A courtesy seating area has been designated for seniors, expectant mothers, adults travelling with infants/small children or any other customer who may benefit from a seat near the front of the bus.
