The Town of Huntsville has a number of plans and studies that will help guide the future direction of our town. Based on community input, they outline strategic themes and goals for Huntsville and will be used by Town staff and Council to:
- Guide the development of future business plans, long-term capital plans, annual operating budgets and other similar corporate plans
- Set organizational direction and priorities
- Simplify and guide Council and staff decision-making
- Promote new and effective partnerships
- Establish organizational success and performance measures
- Promote organizational alignment and focus
- Ensure clear and effective communication within the organization and throughout the community related to corporate projects, initiatives, programs and services
