Media Release: COVID-19 Update: Canada Day Celebrations

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) The Town confirms that Town of Huntsville Canada Day celebrations including Town fireworks have been cancelled for 2020 to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The decision was confirmed during the May 27, 2020 electronic Council meeting in accordance with the Province of Ontario’s Emergency Order.

Residents are asked to monitor the Muskoka Fire Danger rating for use of private bonfires and fireworks on the Outdoor Burning page at Huntsville.ca

As an alternative way to celebrate, residents are encouraged to celebrate virtually from coast to coast with Canadian Heritage. Details about the virtual event can be found here:
