Media Release: COVID-19 Update: Modified Service and Lifted Restrictions

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) Town of Huntsville residents are advised of the following modified levels of service and lifting of restrictions following the June 24th electronic Council meeting:

Youth Day Camps – Town of Huntsville youth day camps for summer 2020 are cancelled.
Aquatics – Town outdoor swimming lessons will be offered this summer at Port Sydney Beach and Hutcheson Beach. Swim lesson schedules and additional information will be provided as it becomes available. The Canada Summit Centre pool will remain closed until further notice.
Muskoka Heritage Place – Muskoka Heritage Place and Museum were given Council approval to re-open based on recent restrictions lifted by the Province in Stage 2. The opening date will be communicated through Town of Huntsville and Muskoka Heritage Place websites and social channels.
Garage and Yard Sales – Council has lifted the restriction on garage and yard sales. Please be mindful of Provincial restrictions on gathering numbers and apply recommended COVID-19 safety precautions where possible.
