Temporary Road Closure - July 11, 2023

Please be advised that there will be a short-term road closure at East Waseosa Lake Road (2228m West of North Waseosa Lake Road) on July 11, 2023, from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm for a culvert replacement. For a detailed road closure map and information, visit: huntsville.ca.

Municipal Parking Lots Closed for Line Painting

Residents are advised of the closure of municipal lots in the evening of Wednesday, July 5 for line painting. The lots will have staggered closing times to accommodate eventgoers for Concerts on the Dock.

The following lots will close at 7 pm:

  • Conroy Park Lot at soccer fields
  • Lot beside Huntsville High School at Park Drive and Forbes Hill Drive
  • Olivers Lot at Summit Centre
  • Summit Centre Entrance Lot
  • Huntsville High School Lot
  • Summit Centre Rear Lot
  • Avery Beach Lot

The following lots will close at 11 pm:

Residents are advised the IRONMAN 70.3 Muskoka Triathlon will take place in Huntsville on Sunday, July 9, 2023. The course will affect the flow of traffic along the routes and in-town parking.

All roads included in the bike and run courses remain open in all directions, except for Park Drive and Camp Kitchen Road. The bike and run courses affect the following roads on July 9:

New Muskoka Job Board Launched to Help Employers Connect to Workers They Need

(MUSKOKA, ON) - The District of Muskoka, in partnership with the Town of Bracebridge, Township of Georgian Bay, Town of Gravenhurst, Town of Huntsville, Township of Lake of Bays and Township of Muskoka Lakes, has created a Muskoka-specific job board and interactive map available now at muskokajobboard.ca.

The job board is part of a Muskoka Workforce Development Project generously funded by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food & Rural Affairs' Rural Economic Development (RED) program.
