Road Work Alert – Improvements to Muskoka Road 2 (Ravenscliffe Road)

Starting Wednesday, July 20, motorists are asked to plan for traffic delays on Muskoka Road 2 (Ravenscliffe Road) from highway 11 in Huntsville while micro-surfacing treatment is applied to the road. Traffic will be reduced to one-lane for approximately 1.7 kilometres and will be led by a pilot vehicle through the construction zone. Crews are planning to be onsite from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. until the work is completed.

Pride Bench Unveiled at Kent Park

On July 18, 2022, Mayor Terziano and Council members joined Muskoka Pride to unveil the new Muskoka Pride Benches in Kent Park and raise the Muskoka Pride flag for #MuskokaPride week. The benches were donated by Muskoka Pride as part of a community enhancement project supported by the District of Muskoka and can be enjoyed throughout surrounding Muskoka Municipalities.

Joint Media Release: Diggin’ Downtown Main Street Paving Update July 14

(Huntsville ON) Diggin’ Downtown paving and road closures continue for Thursday, July 14, in downtown Huntsville. At 7:00pm, Main Street will be closed to traffic just east of Brunel Road to the Swing Bridge and will reopen Friday July 15 at 7:00am.

The Town of Huntsville will continue to update residents on and through their social media channels as paving and line painting continue and if delays are expected.

(Huntsville, ON) During the months of July, August and September, the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department will be conducting our Get Alarmed door-to-door campaign in neighbourhoods across Huntsville and Lake of Bays between 6pm and 8pm.
