(Huntsville/Lake of Bays) – Around 5:19 a.m. on January 26, 2025, the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Fighters responded to a structure fire on Menominee Lake Road in Lake of Bays.  Crews from Station 4 Baysville and Station 1 Huntsville, including 20 firefighters and 5 trucks, responded to the event.

General Committee Pre-Meeting Highlights - January 29, 2025

This month, General Committee is hearing on a variety of topics including updates on the Strategic Successes and a Corporate Action Plan, By-Law Amendments and Changes as well as an Annual Report from Muskoka Heritage Place. Here are some of this month’s topics:

  • The Town-Owned Lands Working Group reports on their mandate to categorize all Town-Owned lands and determine any surplus land that could be developed or sold. The report seeks approval from Committee to adopt the recommendations within.
