(Huntsville, ON) The Town of Huntsville is launching a new 24-hour Short Term Rental Accommodation Hotline to help expedite concerns from residents regarding non-compliant properties beginning March 8, 2024.

Please be advised that Huntsville Road Crews will be doing urgent road maintenance on the following roads to address the road conditions impacted by warmer temperatures:

  • Williamsport Rd.
  • Bowyer Rd.
  • Ripple Lane
  • Fish Lake
  • Proudfoot from Old Muskoka to Domtar
  • North Lancelot 
  • South Lancelot
  • Stephenson 7&8 from HWY 11 to Old Muskoka
  • Stephenson Rd. 2 West from Old Muskoka to Muskoka Rd 4
  • Stephenson Rd. 2 West from Old Muskoka to Lone Pine

Huntsville Operations Update: March 6, 2024

Please be advised that seasonally warm temperatures have impacted our gravel roads and surface treated roads, causing pot holes and soft muddy conditions.  

Town Crews are monitoring the situation and working to repair area roads as quickly as possible. Residents who have any concerns or questions are advised to submit a request for service online at Huntsville.ca or call 705-789-1751 option 5.

This month, General Committee heard Deputations on Climate Change and ATV Access, 2023 Planning Applications Overview, Operations Management System Update and Outstanding Council Directives.

Pool Closure - February 28, 2024

UPDATE: The Centennial Pool at the Canada Summit Centre will re-open on March 2nd, 2024, and Town of Huntsville swimming lessons and public programming will be resumed.

Please be advised that the Centennial Pool at the Canada Summit Centre will be closed February 28 until further notice due to a pool mechanical issue. Town of Huntsville swimming lessons and public programming are cancelled.
