Media Release: Huntsville Honour Roll Commemorated with New Home at the Canada Summit Centre

(Huntsville, ON) The Royal Canadian Legion Huntsville Branch 232 and Town of Huntsville invite the community to join together in celebrating the Huntsville Honour Roll’s new home at the Canada Summit Centre.

The Honour Roll commemorates those from Huntsville who served in the Armed Forces during the Second World War. Capital Construction Update – South Waseosa Lake Road Repairs

(Huntsville, ON) Starting today, Monday, September 30, 2024, South Waseosa Lake Road has been scheduled to be pulverized, graded, compacted and resurfaced with gravel. The work is expected to be completed by Friday, October 11. This road will remain gravel until spring 2025, when a new road surface is scheduled to be applied.

Flags Lowered September 30th, 2024

In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Town of Huntsville will be lowering the flags to half-mast across all Town facilities from sunrise to sunset on Monday, September 30, 2024.

REGARDING DEVELOPMENT CHARGES

TAKE NOTICE that Town of Huntsville Council is holding a public meeting on October 28, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the Huntsville Civic Centre, Municipal Council Chambers to discuss proposed Development Charge (DC) rates as well as the policies that will be applied throughout the Town.
