The Town of Huntsville is pleased to participate in Crime Stoppers Awareness Month this January. This year's theme is "Helping Communities Stay Safe". As we cannot gather this year to raise the Crime Stoppers Flag of Simcoe Dufferin Muskoka, the Town is hosting a "Virtual Flag Raising" in support of Crime Stoppers.

Media Release: COVID-19 Update: Huntsville’s Assessment Centre To Offer Pre-Booked Appointments Starting Jan 11

(Huntsville, ON) The Huntsville COVID-19 Assessment Centre, is offering pre-booked appointments in addition to walk-in appointments at the Active Living Centre, 20 Park Drive, starting January 11, 2021.
To pre-book an appointment call 1-888-383-7009, Monday to Friday between 9:00am – 4:00pm. Residents are advised to listen carefully to the phone system prompts and be sure to select the option for “Huntsville” and then select the “book an appointment” option.

On January 7, 1901, when Huntsville accepted its official status as a town; there were no ceremonies or big newspaper headlines. Just a small note in the Forester reading that “Huntsville has outgrown her old village garb and on January 7th will be recognized officially as an incorporated town”.
Well she’s 120 years young today.
