(Huntsville, ON) On Friday, July 16, 2021 the province entered Step three of its Roadmap to Reopen. Based on the provincewide vaccination rate and continuing improvements in key public health indicators on August 3, 2021 the following Huntsville Municipal administrative offices will reopen to in-person services: Town Hall, Madill Yard and the Huntsville Fire Station 1.

(Huntsville, ON) The Town of Huntsville and District of Muskoka would like to advise the community the Diggin’ Downtown construction project will remain in Stage 2 construction until further notice.
While the project team is pleased with how the job progressed in Stage 1 the second stage of construction has presented some complicated service connections and seen a significant volume of rain and water in the ‘hole’ of the construction area.

- Crews are continuing repairs to the Williamsport Road culvert and are making good progress
- The hole is dug, the new culvert is in and filter cloth is being placed. Soon, crews will be backfilling and completing the work.
