(HUNTSVILLE, ON) Nominations for the 2022 Municipal and School Board Election close on Friday August 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. There are still some offices that need candidates as nominations have yet to be filed.

Lake of Bays Home Suffers $400K in Fire Damage

The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire shortly before 1pm on Highway 35 in Dwight this afternoon. Upon arrival, crews from Station 2 and Station 3 encountered thick smoke inside the two-storey home. The fire was quickly located and extinguished by fire crews.

Service Disruption - Club 55 Washrooms

Please be advised the washrooms at 37 Main Street East (Club 55 in Town Hall) are closed due to a service disruption. Washrooms at 8 West Street (River Mill Park) remain open 7 days a week from 9am – 4pm.

It is a time to celebrate the contributions of Canadians with disabilities and promote efforts to increase accessibility and inclusion in Canada. In recognition of National AccessAbility Week, and on behalf of the Huntsville Accessibility Advisory Committee, the Town of Huntsville will be raising a flag on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 10:45 am in Civic Square.
