Community Flag Raising - Alzheimer's Awareness Month

Each January, the Alzheimer Society supports and leads Canada's Alzheimer's Awareness Month. In recognition of Alzheimer's Awareness Month, the Town of Huntsville is pleased to raise the Flag of the Alzheimer Society of Muskoka. During this month, the Society encourages organizations and individuals to learn more about dementia and its stark impact on Canadians.

Service Disruption: River Mill Park Washrooms

Please be advised that the washrooms at 8 West Street (River Mill Park) are closed due to a service disruption. The washrooms located at 37 Main Street East (Club 55 in Town Hall) are open for public use 7 days a week from 9am to 8pm.

Ontario Launches New Support for Businesses

The Ontario government is introducing new supports for many of the businesses that are most impacted by public health measures in response to the Omicron variant. These supports include a new Ontario Business Costs Rebate Program and a six-month interest- and penalty-free period to make payments for most provincially administered taxes.

Unscheduled Interruption Notice: Incoming Telephone Calls

Update Wednesday December 22, 2021: 

Phone services has been restored. 

Tuesday December 21, 2021:

Please be advised, Lakeland is having an issue which is not allowing inbound telephone calls to all Town numbers (including the Library). External calls inbound to the Town sites are not getting through. Technicians have identified the issue are are working to fix it.

Town Hall Holiday Hours

Please be advised that Town Hall will be operating with modified holiday hours. They are as follows:

December 24, 2021: Open 8:30am - 12:00pm. Closed at noon
December 27 - December 31, 2021: Closed. Online services will continue to be available at www.huntsville.ca.

Town Hall will resume regular hours of operation on January 3, 2022.
