Notice of District of Muskoka Night Works - Main Street - September 16-27, 2024

(Huntsville, ON) Residents are advised that the District of Muskoka’s contractor, Dufferin Construction, will be conducting essential maintenance work at night on Main Street in Huntsville starting September 16 and continuing through the week of September 23. The project will involve pipe flushing and CCTV Inspections. This work is related to the Diggin’ Downtown project and is part of the warranty process.

Closure Notice – Lions Lookout – September 16-18, 2024

Residents and visitors are advised that Lions Lookout will be closed from September 16-18 for tree pruning work. Regular tree pruning is important in order to keep the view at Lions Lookout looking its best. Trees have overgrown the view and it’s time for pruning to open up the view of Huntsville’s Town-scape and Fairy Lake. Pruning is also important to ensure the health and safety of both trees and onlookers by removing selected tree limbs, including dead and dying limbs.

Walkway Closure: Howland Drive - September 10-20, 2024

Residents are advised that the Town will be conducting reconstruction work on the asphalt walkway along the southeast side of Howland Drive, from Centre Street North to 50 Howland Dr. The project is scheduled to commence on September 10 and is expected to be completed by September 20, 2024.
