Emergency Road Closure - June 1, 2023

Please be advised that there is a short-term emergency road closure on Roe Rd. to address a culvert repair in the area. Access will be allowed for emergency and local residents only. Repairs are scheduled to be completed by 1:00 pm today. For a detailed road closure map, visit: huntsville.ca.

King William Road Repairs Due to Watermain Break

The District of Muskoka is working to repair a watermain break on King William Street at Scott Street this morning. Crews have been working diligently to address the issue, and traffic lanes in the area will be reduced throughout the day as they complete the repair. Residents can expect traffic delays as these repairs are conducted.

Public Notice: Hwy 11 Southbound Lanes and Stephenson Road 4

(Huntsville ON) The Town of Huntsville would like to advise the community that the Stage 1 construction work, conducted by the MTO and Fidelity Engineering & Construction, affecting the Hwy 11 southbound lanes and Stephenson Road 4 will continue until October 11, 2022.  At this time access to Highway 11 from Stephenson Road 4 will be reopened to traffic.

Stage 2 of construction will begin on Wednesday October 12th, 2022 and is anticipated to occur until Monday October 31st, 2022....

Etwell Road Closure for Culvert Repair October 3, 2022

Please be advised that the Town of Huntsville Public Works Department is completing cross culvert replacement on Etwell Road in Huntsville between District Road 45 (Hoodstown Road) and Buckhorn Road. Traffic will not be permitted access Monday, October 3, starting at 8:00am until 12:00pm. The road closure is anticipated to take 4 hours, weather dependent.
