Human Resources
The
Human Resources Department is the responsibility of the
Corporate Services Department and is responsible for:
- Planning,
developing, and administering policies for the Town's
more than 150 temporary
and permanent employees.
- Staff
recruitment, salary and benefits administration, employee
and labour relations, and employee safety.
- Enhancing
organizational effectiveness through strategies for
change supported by training and development and management
studies.
- Administering
and maintaining the Town of Huntsville Insurance Plan
through risk management assessments, evaluation of municipal
liabilities, and review of claims
experience.
