Introduction from the Mayor
To insure the Town of Huntsville is positioned for the future and to identify where we are going in the next 3 to 5 years we are about to start a public visioning process. We encourage you to participate in this process to ensure Huntsville continues to develop as a vibrant community. We are pleased to offer several ways of providing input. We are proud to be one of the first communities to offer a BLOG for this purpose. This tool allows interested members of our Town who are away from the community to see what public opinion is and provides you with an opportunity to add your comments.
Opportunities for Public Input
There are several ways to provide your input to the Huntsville Community Master Plan. For those who do not have internet access, the Huntsville Public Library provides a free service during regular hours. The hours are listed on this page http://www.huntsvillelibrary.net/hours.shtml. We encourage you to use one of the following:
- Town of Huntsville Blog - to view topics from the Huntsville Community Master Plan Committee and comments from the community.
- Email - cmp@huntsville.ca go here to e-mail your comments to the Community Master Plan Committee.
- Video Clip - please contact John Finley for assistance at 705-789-1751 Ext. 2229 or email john.finley@huntsville.ca
- Library - visit the Huntsville Public Library at 7 Minerva Street in Huntsville for free internet access.
- Meeting Presentations - all public meetings are open to the public. Please provide a written submission to leave with the committee. We ask that your presentation be limited to 15 minutes.
- Written Submissions - can be delivered to The Huntsville Community Master Plan Committee, 37 Main St. E. Huntsville Ontario, P1H 1A1 between the hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday (holidays excluded).

Community Master Plan Blog
Mayor Claude Doughty and Council wish to thank all who participated through Blog comments and other methods of communication during the assembly of the 2008 Huntsville Community Master Plan (CMP). With the completion of the CMP, the Blog is now inactive. The final CMP is available at:
