Summer Day Camps

Action Camp

Welcome to what will be a fun and exciting summer of sports and recreation brought to you by Community Services and many community partners.

Action Camp will provide children the opportunity to learn two sport disciplines weekly.  Each day will consist of instructional activities in the morning, a 45-minute supervised lunch, a swim at the Centennial Pool and instructional activities in the afternoon.

This summer day camp will prove to be very exciting and a learning experience for your children.  Participants will learn two sports daily from coaches in each discipline.  Instructional time will consist of drills, practices, games, fitness and lectures relating to each discipline.

Community partners will consist of several well established clubs, organizations and volunteers in Huntsville.  Community Services is very fortunate and excited to have gained this very valuable working relationship with these groups/volunteers.

Camp participants will need to bring their swimsuit and towel, lunch and snacks, appropriate footwear and clothing, plenty of liquids and an abundance of energy to complete each day's activities.  Please note that we strive to be a nut-free camp and ask that you do not send peanuts or nut products with your children.  Healthy treats and snacks are encouraged.

Action camp will operate rain or shine!  In the event of rain, please call the Canada Summit Centre to determine the drop off location.

Summer 2011 information to be announced.

Please note a 10% registration fee will be applied to non residents.

Activities are subject to change. Confirmation will be made at time of registration.
