Eco-Adventures Camp

Ages 7 to 12

Active and fun-filled, this day camp is ideal for children who love nature and want to have the opportunity to explore the outdoors. Lead by an experienced environmental education specialist, the children in this day camp will have the opportunity to create creatures based on their special adaptations, take a close look at aquatic insects, explore a wetland and participate in a canoe adventure.


Children should come prepared daily with a bathing suit and towel, sunscreen, lunch, snacks and water, a positive attitude and loads of energy.

Goals:

  • Promote a better appreciation and understanding of nature environment
    through hands-on experiences and problem solving.
  • Encourage physical activity

Dates: Week 2: July 12-16, 2010         

             Week 3: July 19-23, 2010

             Week 4: July 26-30, 2010

 

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

Cost: $150.00

 

Registration limited to 12 participants.
