Finance & Property Taxes

The Finance Department provides financial services to Council, the public and Town staff.  Our primary responsibilities include:

• Assisting departments with business plans
• Billing and collection of property taxes
• Generating accounts receivable and payable / purchasing
• Investing and borrowing funds
• Preparing annual financial statements
• Preparing operating and capital budgets
• Providing financial information and guidance to Council and staff
• Working with Town accounting systems
